Tivo'ed all HD versions of Dirty Harry on AMC HD. Granted they're still grainy but heck, it's Clint.
Finishing up this week's House. Chris Rock is about to record and can't wait to see Tina Fey do Palin on SNL tonight.

Man, that sounds awful racy for network television.

X-Men: The Last Stand [Blu-ray] ...it gives my EP600 a workout like no other movie I own. Ooh - I didn't realize this had come out on BR yet - birthday is just around the corner and my wife was looking for ideas... I'll have to drop this suggestion to her today. I have enjoyed all of the X-Men movies and if on top of the movie itself, it is a good sound demo disc, one more reason to own it. Thanks for the suggestion, again (I'm going to have consider putting - "as recommended by CV" on several of my CDs/movies as the list is growing quickly) Jason

Pride & Prejudice (2005) on HD DVD
It's my third or fourth time watching it, and I still really like it. It's a very well-shot movie (despite the grain in the picture), and it sounds very good, too. As far as Jane Austen screen adaptations go, I still have a soft spot for the Emma Thompson Sense and Sensibility, but this movie does a lot of things really well, and I wouldn't really be able to put it in a lower tier. I know this puts my testosterone levels in doubt, but what can I say, I'm a sucker for a good love story.
