Ben Folds Presents: University A Cappella!
Pretty cool covers of Ben Folds songs by a cappella groups from different universities, which I'm sure you could have figured out from the title.

I got sucked into that Playing For Change video version of Stand By Me when it was referenced by Gizmodo yesterday. I was wishing I could buy it and then it showed up on iTunes w/ some other vids. I haven't stopped listening to it. Roger Ridley's got some soul. http://www.playingforchange.com/

Listening to “The 5th Dimension/Greatest Hits” (1970). The vocals sound absolutely fantastic on the M80s. I’ve really been enjoying listening to some of my older stuff lately. I’m really surprised how well a lot of it was produced.

I bought some 5th Dimension not too long ago. I haven't yet listened to it on my main system. I'll have to do that.

I'm not at all surprised that the recording sounds great. Unfortunately these days, the only time I'm surprised a recording sounds great is if it's a "less-than-four-year-old" release of music in any category of popular music. I'm bitter and pissed about it.

Sounds like you're angry, Mark.

I heard my name and thought I'd check in.
Ah, the BPA patient: bitter, pissed, and angry.
Hey, Mark, if you vary the content slightly from bitter to irritable, and you stay that way for 2 hours, you could be a "120 minute IPA"!
