they look V2 I'm sure that if you send the serial number to customer service, they will be able to track down wich version it is.

Thanks all for the feedback.
FYI- I got a reply from Brent at Axiom and they don’t stock those grill holders any more. PE might have some suitable alternatives but going to send them back to the seller anyway.

Good for you, they are beat to rat anyway! You're better off saving for a new pair. The v3s are well worth it, used speakers are something you should see and hear before getting them. I think you taught us all a lesson.....Thanks for sharing!

The damage is to the top corner. If mounted up high, you will most likely never see it. I would still hook them up - if they sound ok, offer the guy $200. I would probably keep them for that. Even the old Q's sound great!
