Jack,
The best part of these review's was #3. I am feeling even better about my M60's as the B & W 703's were the speakers I auditioned before purchasing the Axiom's. B & W must tell all their sales staff to play the Dire Straits 'Brothers in Arms' CD to demonstrate the 703's. That's the same CD the sales guy used when I listened them. Those same 703's in Vancouver were $4,500.00 plus 14.5% tax = $5,152.50. My M60's (Cinnamon Beech)were around $1,260.00 delivered. If you look at the money I saved, I can buy a new big screen TV and A/V Receiver!
Cheers,
Shaun

Sounds like a good justification to get a new big screen TV and A/V Receiver!!

Shaun, I thought the same thing. I've not heard the 703s, but Ray SWEARS ('course he swears all the time ) the M60s are very similar, at about one third the cost. Makes me happy!

Craig,
I am sort of contemplating item #67 in the review. Might be cheaper than a big screen TV? When my 6 month old son decides to start walking those little finger prints will be all over the screen. My wife likes the idea of hanging a plasma screen on the wall to eliminate the child to tv contact. I'll have to weigh this one out...
Cheers,
Shaun

Jack - you have WAAY too much time on your hands! You just keep coming up with the neatest stuff for us. To follow on with the comments you and Shaun made, I was stunned to see the B&W 703s ranked as #3. Amazing. This link should be kept around for helping explain the M60s when questions come up. I actually stopped into the store that had them and listened to the 703s again a couple of weeks ago and they still sound very much like the M60s to my ears.

True enough. I agree with about half the list. It would have been nice if it was done by category vs. just lumping it all into one list. I like the way Secrets did the list they put out.
