"....except on sailboats (you gotta ground the mast to the keel)."

Wish I would have known that whenever my wife and I got talked into a ride on a Hobie-Cat with the no-brains, no-common sense, probably high as a kite no-sailing friend of mine just off the beach in Cape Canaveral, Fl. several years ago.

Twenty minutes into the ride I'm like "Uh, those clouds are starting to really roll in. Don't you think we ought to be heading back" ... "I've been trying to head back for the last ten minutes, Dude!"

Anyway, the conditioners look cool anyway.

I have a Panamax 4300. One thing it does for me is greatly improve the quality of the OTA signal after it goes through the signal boost amp. We're in a rural area. So the RF filter can help if you have such a need.

Glad you like the HTPowerBar10. I am using 2 of them to protect my gear. One is in the HT room for the HDTV, DVD and audio gear, and the other is in the wife's study for her TV, FAX, computer and other electronic goodies. I use other Tripp-Lite protectors for the rest of my electronics that do not require TV cable protection.

As a matter of note for anyone using cable TV, look and inspect the surge protector provided by your cable TV provider. It is probably the "cheap" type that grounds only the shield of the cable. You REALLY need one that protects the center conductor too.

Just a couple of thoughts.
