I am picking up my new speakers tonight!
I bought the M60ti's for the mains, M3ti's for the surrounds and the VP100 centre. From reading the posts I see the term Toe-in mentioned a lot and I was just wondering what that means? Also any tips on how to properly set this kind of layout up? I have a Marantz 7200 driving the whole system. Thanks, Dave |

Dave,
That's the same setup I have. I've toed in (angled) the mains and left them straight.. and can't tell any difference. The mains are about 6 ft apart and about 9 ft from the listening position. I finally left them pointing straight ahead and have calibrated with both Avia and VE. One suggestion... let them break in a while before you pass judgement on the speakers. They take a little while to get the harshness out, imo |
