I was just wondering if anybody has compared the two? If so, is there anybody who preferred the 100's, but went with the 80's because they are cheaper? Right now I figure the price difference is about three to four hundred dollars (Canadian). Not really a big deal. Any input would be appreciated, as I am going to get one or the other next week.
Thanks!

Check out this thread. It will definitely be the 100s, and the comparison is scheduled for September 24th. Pictures are on page 6. The M80s haven't arrived yet.

Thanks for the link, but they are comparing the 90P in the monitor line. Isn't the Studio line the next line up for quality?

I would love to see the results, but I can't wait a minute more than next week :-) My old speakers have crapped out after 15 years, and I need some tunes very soon.

Hello and thank you. I already checked that list. Lots of Americans, but not many Canadians. And nobody east of Ontario with 80's or even 60's.

I know you would love the Axiom's, have you considered the free 2-day shipping and 30 day guarantee? Axiom will not argue if you decide to ship them back, which is unlikely. Hope you find someone on here willing to audition for you.

I know two people who live in Dwight, ON. How far are you from there?
Seriously though the cost of return shipping shouldn't be much if you decide to purchase a pair. If no one pops up here that can give you an audition then go for it. Order a pair and tell us what you think.

Thinking really hard about trying out a pair. Especially since after checking my notes, the 100's would actually be about $800.00 (Canadian) more.
