Thank you for the kind welcome... I'm glad that I can be of some service. I believe that the 5db boost of the EP500 was just a little twist. I don't remember Craig explanin why he did this, but I'm sure he had his reasons.
I do agree that there is a lot of B.S. to sort through at AVSForum. However, as an impartial observer, I think that there are a lot of people on that forum who are just after the "truth". Then again, I haven't been around long enough to get jaded just yet.
Maybe when Craig comes back from his business obligations, he can go into depth of why he chose the methodology that he did what he did. Either way, he did a great job. It takes passion to spend 4 hours calibrating the subwoofers, and then spend an afternoon testing with strangers. It also takes a great wife to allow all this to happen.
