Ok, I guess I'll plug it into my Monster HTS 2600 in the spare amp outlet. Reason I submitted this post was because someone told me that I am going to lose power to the sub if plugged into the protector. Just plugged it in, still has same power and now feel safer when a storm hits. Ok, I'm drooling about this sub, so another post about this sub with diff settings.
