Looks like the 2.7 firmware update cured the skipping with the SD-DVDs and after returning the HD-DVD Bourne Ultimatum disc for another one everything seems to be up and running just fine, great movie BTW. I'm starting to *really* like this player now. \:\)

Where did you guys hear about the one minute load times? Even prior to any updates ours was never near half of that, it is probably in the 15 second time frame.
