Ha-ha, you're probably right. I'm a believe in tone controls since not all recordings are made equal, so I'm sure I'll do some tweaking on that end too. But I'm totally impressed. The last time I visited Stereo Exchange in Manhattan they played me $5K speakers on a $25K McIntosh tube system. In all honesty, I'm hearing that kind of detail here. No, I'm not an expert, but I know what I like. So far, these are high on the list. Thank goodness!! I waited almost two years to buy them. I won't be looking back!
