I ordered this one from
Musiciansfriend. I was "pushing things" a bit when I switched from an initial plan of spending a total of $250 to wanting to spend $500 for the Technics and a cartridge. So the fact that this was the cheapest of the 1200s, from a dealer I've used many times before, and was on sale with free shipping tipped the scales.
The cartridge from
Amazon came a couple of days ago, but the TT is scheduled for delivery today. I'm hoping to get it set up late today, and I'll make it a point to buy a new album for direct comparison to an already-owned CD in the next couple of days!
