Thanks for the comments... the pictures don't do it justice yet (it's kind of a dim room now that the curtains are in and I don't have a great camera... hard to have a camera budget with the way this system is shaping up) ;\)

As for the mount, it only allows for two screws. It came with 2" screws and I used 3" instead, and they're both straight into the stud. Sounds like I've done all I can.
