Congratulations on your purchase. Going from a sony HTIB to your current Axiom system is quite a big upgrade. I think you will be blown away with this system. The Denon 3808 is also a very popular receiver around here.
For speaker wire and banana plugs I would look at online stores such as

http://www.monoprice.com. I prefer the locking banana plugs from blue jeans cable over the standard monoprice banana plugs and indifferent between the speaker wire. I like using locking banana plugs because it is much easier to hook up the speaker wire to the conjested area on the back of my receiver. The locking portion also makes the connection very secure. I use this connection method for all my speakers expect for my wall mounted QS4 (t-bracket) which I just use a bare wire termination to the speakers binding posts.
