I would disagree for this reason. There were no issues with interoperability of 802.11a, b, or g APs. The "pre-n" "pre-g" stuff had issues because the standards were not settled. I'm not putting the security issues with the original WEP as a compatibility issue (just performance/feature set issue). I understand every standard needs some time to flesh out all the issues. That time has come and gone for Blu-ray. Again, just my opinion.

As a recall, didn't BD30 have an issue with movies if the 24fps setting was enabled?

My only point is at this point, EVERY BD player should play every disc (within the confines of profile 1, 1.1, and 2).
