Actually Hawaii gets a little cold for me.
You know, that is a fairly common statement I hear. Humidity is high here all the time, so when the temps dip and the trade winds pick up, it saps the heat out of you faster than most people think.
But surfing in January w/o a wetsuit is always cool. To bad the last 2 times I’ve been there the swells were not even as good as SoCal. What’s the point of going to Hawaii if there’s no surf…oh yeah Japanese girls.
A surfer from Arizona! COOL! I tried surfing a few times, and getting dragged all over the reef was not my idea of a good time. Winter swells on the north shore can be flat (relatively speaking) some seasons. With regards to the eyecandy around here, as a happily married man, I can say that its nice to read what is on the menu, but I would never order anything!
