I was reading your earlier post about using ProLogic II for music and how your old center channel not seeming to "fit" since it carries most of the vocals. I'm using ProLogic II for all of my music listening and I'm very impressed by some recordings. On certain songs, the vocals will start in the center, widen to the mains, and finally spread to the surrounds...it is a beautiful thing to experience!

By the way, I don't know if it is specific to my receiver (Denon 1910) or a general ProLogic II setting, but I am able to virtually "widen" the center channel so the sound stage is more enveloping. There is another setting called "Panorama" that really shows off the power of the surrounds.
