Ah that auzentech is a nice card. I had one for a while but it was short lived for me. It failed after about two years of use, however I think it was because I run a very powerful computer rig and I game a whole whole lot.

Peter, I heard that sales have been so bad recently that he's going to file an affidavit of poverty so that the State will appoint attorneys to defend him at public expense.
Possibly they should have a fundraiser on the AV123 forum?

LOL. Ok, I may try the ep350 then. But it has to be in Cinnamon Beech.

Today, at my place, is burnt weenie sandwich day. Having guests over for movie or concert blu-ray and as many burnt weenie sandwiches as you can eat. Beef, of course.

I finally got Room EQ Wizard to function as far as getting sound from the speakers and being able to measure using the SPL meter. But my problem now is a loud hum coming from the speaker I've got the sound card connected to. Anybody out there know how to eliminate this hum? The little red squiggle at the top was my measurement. I know it wasn't at 120 db, but between the loud hum and me trying to figure out this program it put it at 120db. I took the measurement from 20 hz to 500 hz. (Keep in mind that my room skews the values) I was surprised though to see how high of a frequency it actually played. I imagine that the EP350 would be similar, since it is also rated at 20-150 hz, only capable of more output. The EP175 doesn't have enough power to apply sound to my room in adequate volume without over-driving the speaker, so I'll be trading it in for the EP350.

Must be a holiday at Axiom Audio. I've tried to contact them by e-mail yesterday, and phone today but no response. (Either that or I've been put on ignore. ) Never mind, I see that I just missed the call.

Countdown on EP350v3 in Cinnamon Beech begins. I wonder how long this one will take?
