Yes, for some reason or another they haven't played Vancouver for years. The company that designs Carter Beauford's snare drums are located in Ladner, British Columbia. I am not interested in making a trip to the Gorge to see Dave Mathews Band. Frien

I like my QS4's. I'm hoping QS8's will add some weight when needed but remain invisible during typical listening scenarios. I've got a new installation sceme planned. Wish I'd bought a 9.1 reciever. It would make proving my theory easier.

We watched 'Zero Dark Thirty' last night. The first half hour was controversial in the US & was probably largely unnecessary; however, overall it was good, but long - 2:50 hours. At -10Db, during the explosions inside the OBL's compound during

Four eye bolts through the ceiling and some chains would really open up your center channel placement options, Ken...

Know what you mean, David. I've been toying with the idea of a new center, but with the extraordinarily poor position mine is in (I'll admit it--it's behind the TV facing straight up), I can't imagine it'd make a difference.

I didn't go to see Into the Darkness like I had planned. The person that invited me changed plans, then I changed my plans, then she changed her plans back. But I stuck with mine anyway. So. Later in the day, I ended up watching the 3d copy of Rise

I'm old. I've done this sort of thing many times, but I had used video cameras, mics, switchers and remote monitors (which, back in the day, were called TVs by lay people).

I built a home and set it up so that each room would have its own amp or receiver and apple tv. I wish I had just run all the speaker wire to one central location now and used wired or wireless controlling systems. That all being said 90% of my list

On the plus side M3s do sound excellent without a sub. I used M2s for a while as computer speakers and even with a sub found them lacking (though they were very clear and precise, just "lacking" that certain je ne sais quoi). I now use M22s
