The Axiom Epic 60 / 500 system scales up the performance level of the standard Epic 60 / 350 by combining the new Epicenter EP500 DSP 500-watt subwoofer with the new larger four-driver VP160 center channel. The award-winning Epicenter EP500 subwoofer achieves ultra-low bass with none of the uneven performance of conventional subs. The Axiom custom-programmed Intelligent DSP “algorithm” controls every frequency from 16 Hz to 100 Hz, maintaining a smooth, flat response within 1.5 dB across the range. That means you'll hear undistorted, profoundly deep rumbles all the way to 13 Hz or even deeper in typical rooms. And the sophisticated DSP chip inside prevents the EP500 from ever being overdriven into distortion. The M60 main towers that anchor the system achieve wide dynamic range and excellent, clean, high-volume performance with an airy, spacious soundstage and neutral, high-accuracy music reproduction. At an attractive 37-inch height, the M60 features dual 6.5-inch aluminum-cone woofers, a dedicated 5.25-inch midrange, and a one-inch titanium-dome tweeter. The VP160 'monster' center's four drivers have exceptional power handling and wide dispersion for fine dialog intelligibility and a seamless front soundstage. Specifically designed to mimic and complement the drivers on the M60 tower speaker, this center will astound you with how well you can hear everything from intimate whispers to bone-chilling screams. It's better-than-movie-theater-quality sound in your own home. Coupled with the EP500 sub, the system will deliver realistic, high-volume multi-channel surround sound with music or movie soundtracks at a performance level that high-end audiofiles and home theater enthusiasts will applaud. Thanks to Axiom, awesome sound is now emanating from my home theater. Awesome products, awesome customer service, awesome company. Top three reasons for purchase: 1. I'm a fan of quality products (I'm also not easily fooled into believing products are quality until I've seen/heard them. Axiom is definitely based upon top quality). 2. I'd much rather pay $1000 for a set of speakers that compare to $3000 speakers, than pay $200 for a set of speakers that are worth $100. 3. After reading many reviews, I couldn't find a single person that didn't like Axiom speakers. Nor did I find a single person that complained of the customer service. Axiom seems to be an all around great company!

Mark I., CAALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!!!! After I got it calibrated to the best of my ability. I began to watch some scenes. I am totally amazed with how much of the movie soundtracks I was missing. Little background effects and all sorts of other parts came through clearly. I love it. I now OWN a movie theater. It is awesome. Everyone was right. I did have a smile ear to ear after I got everything put together correctly. The Ep 500 vibrates the windows and I don't even have it hardly turned on!! When I was using the spl meter to put everything together I kept turning it down, turning it down, then down again. I was up till 2 in the morning just watching scenes of movies. I absolutely love Finding Nemo when Darla taps the glass of the aquarium. It litterally vibrated the windows in the room. Don't even get me started on the Lord of the Rings. Sorry for the rambling, but in short I am very proud of my purchase. My girlfriend even said they were good looking enough to be in a living room. Grills on of course. I love the finish, it looks like wood to me, and I feel right in the middle of the action. I could not have asked for better results. Thanks again for everyone's help I do have to say It was a pleasure working with Axiom and the service was second to none. Thanks again.
J Hunt ., OHThis is by far the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK in a whole HT System. The EP500 sub shakes my whole room and is not punchy. It has the best linear lows of any sub I listened to.
