Jakewash's new room
I beleive this will be the final resting place for the system for a little while. I still have to hook the Wii up to the 3808 to eliminate the one set of wires leading up to the TV and do some major cable management behind the stands but it works great. The QS8's have never sounded this good and they were very good before!

Nice Jay - looking great! I'll bet your drinks vibrate right off the SVS if you put them there. Must be nice to have your system back up and running. Hope you enjoy the new place.
Cheers,

What do you mean you don’t have room for a M22 center? Put that TV any higher and you could have an M80 under there. Seriously nice room Jay. Cool that you have part of a wall sticking out on the back right to give you symmetrical placement for your QS8s on the sides. Still loving that couch.

Just some minor tweeking, like moving the TV up a little to accomodate an M22 center, the way it sits right now I can run an M2 if I so desire. The sub may not stay where it is either, this was just the easiest place to set it up right away.
Dean, I really tried to push for an M80 center the M22 on the stand was as high as my wife wanted the TV to go but then she decided even that was too high....with the old couch, with the new couch we sit higher up so the M22 is now a possiblity again.

Have you tried the M22 sitting on the floor or raised enough to be just below the bottom of the TV? At your listening distance I wouldn’t think having the tweeter that much lower than the M80s would cause any problems. Or is putting it in front of the equipment forbidden. Have I mentioned that I’m divorced?

Should have edited that to say “happily divorced.” Never realized those teachers knew what they were talking about when they put on my report card that “Dean doesn’t play well with others.”
