Just a couple shots with the 180 in position! I could not get an accurate pic of the background lights??? I guess I don't know how to shoot in the dark yet??

Nice one! What's the size of your screen?

Nice setup, I see you have the black dust covers on the VP180 ... I didn't think other than Steve's (SRoode) number 1 VP180 Axiom didn't ship anymore without the silver domes.

They don't, but if you ask them you should be able to order the black ones and change them out yourself.

I truly hope I do not start a s___ storm, but rather further instill confidence in Axiom's customer service. I read in a post from Ian that Axiom manufactures their own speakers, so it would never be an issue to order black dust caps on any woofer. Black or Aluminum have the same guts, so all I did was ask Noreen, AT THE TIME I ORDERED, for mine to be shipped with black caps. I probably had to wait a few extra days, but it saved me the hassle of changing them out, or looking at a mismatched front stage. My 80's are only three months old so they are essentially the same as the 180 as well. Too new to comment on performance, but I agree with everything I've read, this center is a perfect match for the 80's.

Not a fan of the lights but other than that, nice setup! How do you like the dual empires? Does the side firing drivers perform well vs front firing?

I did position them firing forward and back, but they did not sound as good. In this room they fair well where they set. I love their performance, smooth, accurate, and powerful, no complaints as of yet, and way more than I hoped for.
