SRoode's Theater
It's dark, so the pix are not that good, but this is my theater (16'x18.5'x8.5').

Let me correct my above statement - it appears you'll also need to spring for some high density insulation material to stuff behind the panels. While it doesn't make construction that much more difficult, it would add to the cost.

I'm sure someone will jump in re: acoustic panels, but you can buy cheap framing materials on the internet, complete with bracing. Would you happen to have any links? I googled but not coming up with much - or maybe I am and I just don't know what I'm looking for?

check out this link: http://www.rexart.com/jck_lightweight_bars.htmlYou can search around for canvas stretcher bars and compare prices. But, basically, you'll get a set of pre-mitered frame pieces that can be stapled/glued/nailed together. Depending on your design, you can use the frame cavity to hold the insulating material and then stretch your fabric over it.

They are Berklines. The acoustic panels were store bought: http://www.acoustimac.comI don't think I could have made them myself much cheaper. Hello, I love the style Berkline. Do you remember the model #? Thank you, Tony
