the setting on my speakers states campatiable with recivers rated 8 ohms or less, thank you for the info
johnk and sirquack i will keep my yamaha reciver model RX-V450 set on 8 ohms .I've got a panasonic dvd player model DVD-F87 and it only has multi channel hook ups and it has coaxial digital on this years modle and no fiber optic audio available where as the last years model did!. i don't know if i like that ,should i be running multi channel or digital coaxial??I've never used it before and don't quite understand the difference, will i get better sound and the same surround effect with digital coaxial as i would with the deticated channels of multi connection ? once again thank you for you help and quick responce.
