Scott, that should be one killer cd. I love a lot of those bands. "Yellow Ledbetter" is by far one of the best PJ songs. The guitar work just gives me goosebumps (in the way SRV's version of Hendrix "Little Wing" does)--audio magic if you ask me. The Fiery Furnaces are a wild ride, so many twists and turns, but completely enjoyable. I've got "Gallowsbird's Bark" still wrapped in plastic. Just waiting for the right moment to listen to that one. Death Cab for Cutie hits it's stride with "Transatlanticism." Available in SACD. Go find it. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are all about pomp and posturing, but sound so good at it. Their sound does a flip flop between the first and second half of the album. The Libertines are just oozing with talent, but you can feel the tension threatening to disassemble each album.

Uh oh, I'd better stop. People will start to think I'm an ad-man working for you.

Lots of good stuff. I'm definitely gonna check out some of those bands.
