You know, I thought of Spiff as I wrote that! The thing is, 1080p is better, but it's not dramatically better in the way that say, DVD (very good) is to VHS (relatively awful), or HD (720p or 1080i) is (at times, dazzling, like the live HD broadcast on INHD Net this morning of the shuttle lift-off) is to analog NTSC (mediocre compared to HD).
