I own 60's and enjoy them in 5.1 or 2-ch stereo.

but recently i've been setting my x-over to 40 0r 60 hz and listened with my ep175. And i have to say, musically this is a great sub! Tight and enveloping. It is great in a music set-up.

Are they good alone? definitely.

Are they better with my 175? Yes.
