Anyone got any news on any upcoming 1080p plasmas? I'm surprised they've let LCD and DLP take that ball and run with it.
The more I look at it, the more it looks like my room works best with a wall mountable tv. I could
possibly fit a 50-52" table top rear projection on top of my equipment rack, but it completely depends on how the particular model is designed. It would have to have a very small outer bevel to the screen, and absolutely no side mounted speakers. ...I just went downstairs and measured. I have exactly 55" of width between my two M60's. So realistically, I can only fit a tv with a width of 53" on top of my equipment stand. I don't want to buy any set that's not at least 50" in screen size.

Racking my brain as to how to get a nice big set in my livingroom. Wall mountable LCD's are only up to 46".
Plasmas aren't 1920x1080.
Here's what my new tv MUST have:
Display and accept 1920x1080 signal
50"+
fit on my equipment rack or wall mount
Any thoughts?
