Sounds good. I have used mine constantly for 10+ years. I had the surrounds of the drivers disintegrate. Fortunately they have a lifetime warranty. So I called Axiom, shipped them the old drivers, and they sent new ones. My only concern was they were not an exact for for the cabinet. Some very minor woodwork solved this.

Magnetically shielded means that placing the speakers near a device that can be affected by magnetism, will not alter the device. Speakers are composed of magnets(among other things), and placing them near a TV, or computer monitor causes picture problems. Try it for fun, but do not subject your tv to this for long. Anyway, they shield the speakers to control the magnetic lines of flux from affecting the TV. Typically people place HT fronts speakers next the TV. Without shileding, TV takes on a very wierd look....even more wierd than usual. ;)
