I'm no expert, but it is also my opinion that if the M60ti's have any short coming its at the lower end. I'm hoping that the EP500 will make that a moot point.

Although the lower end doesn't sound boomy to me in the least (although when I tried to add some base via my receiver it did sound coloured).

Just doesn't seem to push enough volume of air for my taste, however the EP500 should make that issue go away.

The mids and highs though the M60ti are better than a some of the other much higher priced speakers.
