i have a sr-6300 and it works very well.

I have heard the denon 3305 on my stepfathers system, power handling i think they are equal. Although i think most of the marantz advertize handling a 6 ohm load.

I think the denon is more neutral where as the marantz is more warm. The bass sounds better to me in stereo and 5.1 on the marantz.

Too bad you couldn't listen to both with your axoims. Where are you anyways?
