I faced the same decision aproximately 4 months ago. After going through nearly all of the pertinant posts on this message board aswell as professional reviews, I went with the M80's from the outlet($950).
My decision was ultimately based on my preferance for listening to music through 2 channels and the M80's ability to reach deeper base responses compared to M60's.
I also have M22'+ SW (comprable to M60's) and did an A/B comparison with M80's and concluded that the M80's are more dynamic and lively, the 2 more drivers and larger cabinet seems to give it bigger sound, they are also not as placement sensitive as is often mentioned.
Besides being very pleased that my M80's are the best A/V purchase I've made thus far, I definately agree with Ian that their the best speakers his ever made.
