Alessandro is a builder of guitar amps and speaker cabinets who markets a line of Grado earphones to help fill out his total product offerings, and were originally aimed more towards the professional music market. The "Alessandros'" are made by Grado to more closely approximate the old(analylitical) "Joseph" Grado sound rather than the newer (lively, "fun")"John" Grado house signiature sound.

I'll be hearing them myself for the first time when they get here(just like my Axioms)too, so I'm anxious to take a listen. They're only sold on line, so....
