basically i am purchasing a dvd writer this week. I don't know much about it and what sort of things i can use it for. 1.) any helpful suggestions on what i can do with it, 2.) what kind of movies, music, etc i can burn,
3.) what movie format does the file have to be for me to burn it to a dvd and view it,
4.) any good website (bittorrent, etc)....
5.)any software i might need???

basically, any tips to get me started...
