At that listening distance almost any Axiom speaker would be acceptable, but, being partial to floorstanding speakers, I gotta agree with HomeDad. The M60s would be a great choice. If you don't plan on adding a subwoofer, the M80s would get you a bit more bass, but not so much that you'd feel deprived with the M60s.
I'm assuming this is a music only system. If so, adding even a modest subwoofer, like the Axiom EP125, would add a nice dimension. If budget is a factor, The
x-sub from av123 is worthy of consideration. It's a heck of a bang for the buck, and would nicely compliment any pair of Axiom speakers. Unfortunately, they're sold out until June 5.
