Just spoke to Alan at Axiom. Very helpful. The Axiom web-

speaker wire posts will be corrected to show the current
clear plastic and metal nuts. He was not happy that my
M80v2s were shipped in M80ti cartons. As to the banged up
carton, Axiom packs there speakers with a good deal of
protection. With no external speaker damage chances are
they are fine. He did recommend to listen to each driver
at a low low volume. Sometimes a hard knock will dislodge
a push connector from a wire to the driver. I work for a
company that ships a lot of product via Fed Ex and UPS.
Lost packages and damaged shipments are unavoidable no
matter how concientious the company. What's important is
how you are treated when there may be a problem. Axiom,
and especially Alan, have treated me with a degree of
custumer service that is excellent.
