I talked to someone different when I called today, and she didn't try to cheap out on me. She offered the newer model and didn't try to have me pay for shipping. Of course, now that I think it's all taken care of, a 50" instead of a 60" will show up. I'm definitely excited about the QS8s. Now I'm undecided as to what to buy next. If I get a new receiver, I can get uncompressed multichannel PCM over HDMI, which will allow me to watch Kung Fu Hustle (my only Blu-ray Disc) in 5.1 instead of stereo, but if I go for an amp next, receivers with HDMI 1.3 could come out in the meantime, perhaps pushing the prices of HDMI 1.2 receivers down, and since I'd have an amp, I would probably go for a pre/pro instead of a receiver. I suppose impatience is the only thing that would make me buy a new receiver first.
