yeh you pay the return
and if you can spare the money I would do as suggested and order both that you are interested in that way you can hear the difference between the two and not always worry if the other pair would of sounded better. Hell , take up daniels offer and order the mt22 and go over to his place then you will see you can always return the 22 and order the 50's if they are beeter sounding.
