I didn't want to steal the other LCD TV advice thread, but I am in a similar situation. I have been half looking at smaller TV's for the bedroom. I'm thinking either a 32 or 37 inch. Most likely LCD, since I want to be able to hang it on the wall. My problem is I am looking for a good name brand for around $500. I don't think this exists yet. We don't want that much TV in the bedroom, so a little 14 inch tube has the duties currently. I thought about moving my 25" upstairs when I got the 50" SXRD downstairs, but didn't have a good spot to put the 25". We are also thinking of moving, so I might just wait to see where we end up and how the new bedroom layout looks to see what makes the most sense.
Is it same to assume you can turn an LCD off and on as much as you want since there is no bulb you have to worry about replacing? With my SXRD I am supposed to leave it off for at least 30 minutes before turning it on again.
