In that size of room I would go with the 22s. By "nudge" I mean that the M3 is a little "forward" in the lower midrange, making the sound pretty "fat." It sounds great to me. The 22s are very transparent and their frequency chart is as they say pretty much "ruler flat." When paired with a well-placed and calibrated sub they blend in very well and "disappear."
