You are not alone , I am at 7 years and counting, no inspections. I have heard the horror stories about noncompliance but I know of one instance where someone had to rip out the drywall, but that stemmed from an electrical inspection that turned up poor wiring at the panel. The inspection took place for the sale of the house. This was many years ago too. I have also heard if the construction is over 10 years old it is grandfathered past inspections. I guess when I finally sell(many years away for me) I will find out. As was said, I could be renovating before we sell!

Hmmm, maybe I could get that dedicated HT room afterall..... what's the number for city planning?
