Only thing I might add is that back when I was editing audio/video magazines in Canada and the US, I always found that Boston's strengths lay in their bookshelf models, the A40, A60, A70 and, I think, the A100--if that was a bookshelf model. The only BA floorstanders we tested back in the '80s and early '90s had problems with musical imbalances and coloration.

I have no experience with recent BA floorstanders (in the last 10 years), nor do I know who is designing them, since the company changed hands not long ago.

I think Wayne would be thrilled with the Axiom speakers' transparency, natural tonal balance and absence of coloration.
