hello everyone!!

I have been on hiatus due to opening up 2 clinics, building a home, and planning a wedding. this post is actually in response to a post made by scuffernoose. chessroo stated in one of his responses that "getting larger speakers to work in a small room is a big challenge." I am curious what dimension of a room should one choose the 60's over the 80's? I currently am planning on placing the epics 60-500 or 80-500 in my family room, it measures 17x19x10. This is going to be my primary TV watching, listening to music, and watching movies place. The room layout isn't as perfect as one could get as it opens up into the kitchen and breakfast nook with tile flooring Yes, I will be placing nice thick rugs in the room.

So I guess in summary, should I go with the 80's or the 60's with consideration of room size?
