Ok trying to see what setup will work for what I have and want to run. My old onkyo is not up to the task of running my M80's so I am trying to up the reciever in a budgit type manner.

What I am looking at now is the Emotiva LMC-1 and LPA-1 combo. What I have to run speaker wise is a pair of M80's, VP150, A pair of QS8's, A pair of Algonquin out door speakers, and 4 Aura Pro bass shakers on the couch.

So what I am thinking is the LPA-1 is 125x6 @ 8ohms...so I can run my 2 M80's at 225w each...the VP150 at 175w (guessing on the power)...and the 2 QS8's at 175w.

Then on the 6th channel I can run the 4 Aura bass shakers buy Y'ing off the sub out from the LMC so one goes to my sub amp (samson 1000) and one goes to the LPA 6th cha. input. Then from the LPA it can go into a wall volume knob, so I can turn off/control the intensaty of the shakers. And then to the 4 shakers that are 4 ohm's each. I will wire 2 pairs in series to make the 2 pairs 8ohm and then wire those in paralell to make it a single 4 ohm load so they see 225w (56.25w each) from the LPA. Setting it up like this will also allow me to get rid of my even older sony reciever that is used to run just the shakers!!

Then I can use the built in 25w x 2 amp on the LMC for the Algonquins outside and I am guessing the LMC has a seperate volume for the zone 2 speakers.

Sounds like it will work??

EDIT: Is the on board amp of the LMC 25x2 or 50x2? The website says 25 but the owners manual PDF says 50. 50 would be nice
