Purchased back in 1996 ! Not even sure if they had 5.1 back then?
Its been stored for almost 8 years! Works like the day i bought it!
Speakers are 80 pounds each!!!!I was thinking about keeping the speakers but after comparing them to my M3's they just sound awwfull! Thought about replaceing the drivers with new ones but would rather just get the M60's or M80's
(M60's boston cherry on there way!!!)The Bose was my first intro into hometheater and it was a good learning experience! Never buy BOSE.lol It was really my YAMAHA HTR 5660 reciever that got me into hometheater. OPtical 5.1 WOW!
Here's my system now. Still have the HTR5660
(soon to be RVX3800)PS3 and 360 are HDMI/OPTICAL. The wii and HD Box are Component.
Speakers Are AXIOM's VP-100 VP-150 wired together! EP175 and Q4's.
