On the QS8's, if you can't get them up on the walls, don't stress out too much about it. They are really flexible speakers and you'll be happy with them in the other scenarios too. I remember being where you are and obsessing about every detail, so if I'm contributing to your high blood pressure with my wall mount recommendations, please don't let me.

On the 1080, yes, I have the pro version. Short answer is that I got a very good deal on it. It ended up costing me about 3k less a $200 rebate from Epson. Unfortunately, it's a deal that's long gone, but at the time it made it a no brainer for me as I needed the ceiling mount it came with, wanted the extra year warranty, and the extra bulb was just gravy on top of the rest.
