I'll tinker with the crossover. I remember know why I was using 80hZ before (and the other settings): phase - 0, Volume - 9 o'clock on the dial, crossover - 80, trim flat. It's suggested by the EP500 Instruction manual.

I'll get a meter tomorrow and play around with it.
