do need a new prepro and I've been waiting for over a year for one that meets my specs. Sounds like this is another one to consider. Excited to hear that they'll be another option for me next year.
Regarding the $200 discount...you do get to keep the old prepro. You could sell it, put it in another room, etc. But this $200 discount promise has been on the table for quite a while. So if you've owned a 970/990 for a few years, I believe you qualify for the discount on the new one. It's not just for someone buying a 990/970
right now.

Hey at least it's something for owners. Does Axiom ever offer an $XXX discounts to existing owners on upgraded/new products?
Gotta say, the line that cracks me up is the bit about "Buy the old stuff now! We'll give you a $200 discount on the new stuff!"
Yeah... buy a $1000 preamp now to get $200 off a $1400 preamp, for a total of $2200! I'm not good with money, but I'm better than that!
