I still maintain the high price increase for overseas was/is due to shipping costs as the price of fuel had gone through the roof over the last couple years, with fuel prices dropping I would hope Axiom would be doing price updates for their overseas sales, but this would take longer to realize as the courier companies appear to only update their fuel surcharges quarterly.
As Ken said CALL Axiom like you did the first time and see what they can do for you, complaining to us does no good. We can't change anything and we can only speculate as to why they are charging more for overseas purchases.
