I think both you and Murph have great points. The speaker isn't a good match for me period...along those lines, I'm sure the levels aren't correct either.

I think I'm going to take it back. Question is, what should I replace it with? I'm assuming the newer Axioms are much brighter while the older Axioms are more flat and neutral. Ax 1.2 Center? Anybody have any suggestions? I'd love to grab a used one...
